Wattpad Review: The Request by @xkaydotx [Part 2]

Sometimes those spam emails aren't really spam. Sometimes they're pleading requests to help save lives. Julie, a journalist, learns that the world is far more complicated and violent than she could have ever imagined.

After receiving a request for her help on a certain situation, Julie packs her bags and leaves for Palestine, a land she's never heard of, nor ever been to. Julie does not know what to expect, or if she'll even find a decent story there. But one thing leads to another and Julie finds herself a set of friends, an exploding story, and trouble. Of course, little does she know of the events that will happen that will blow her mind.

Literally.

* * * 3. 5 Stars!

{Positives} I like the author's description of events and the story-telling method. The whole idea in itself is like a campaign. I also like the fact that some of the events are based on actual experiences as this chapter wants to show what's really happening out there with the discrimination and all.

{Negatives} From all the chapters I've read so far this is the least interesting. Maybe because there were less revelations that has happened?

{Inner-queen} It was a good chapter, but I'm still looking forward for more like mooooore.

* * * * * 5 Stars!

{Positives} The character, Julie is a Lois Lane! I love her bravado and her passion on being a meaningful writer. Again, the description was very in tact it's as if I was there right at the moment of violence that appear before my face while I was reading it.

{Inner-queen} I've watched a documentary about their war in my past class. I think it's great if we can also here the whole historical-slash-political background of the war.

* * * * 4 Stars!

{Positives} What I liked in this chapter is it's emotional value as we see the state of life of the people there as they suffer.

{Negatives} Minor grammatical errors that proof-reading will suffice.

{Inner-queen} The story is getting more and more interesting in its sense! This chapter is by far the most reader-interactive aside from your prologue!

The Request is a very meaningful novel to read. It will not bore you despite its agenda to instill awareness to people as the author is successful to fully immerse her readers into the situation happening in the Palestine-Israeli conflict.

Kudos to @xkaydotx for creating such a motivational novel that will aid your readers to be mobilized and be aware.
