Review Policies

Oh, hello there!

Reading books makes me happy (lol), apparently. I've been reviewing/critiquing works from Wattpad for two years already. I just started to do so outside of the Wattpad realm. In this case, I have different specifications for reviewing a Wattpad and non-Wattpad work.

Review Style

I will look into the following factors while reading the book and doing the reviews:

*Plot development

*Rationality of events

*Strong conflict and an even stronger resolution (Not applicable to Light Novels)

*Emotional Build-up

*Character formation

My Genres

I especially enjoy the following genres:

ROMANCE
{Contemporary Romance} This is my favorite. Expect three days tops, I can finish one (but still depends on writing style though).

{New Adult} Please no porn books-- works that have explicit scenes in every chapter but doesn't have any plot at all. I do read BDSM. LGBT is not my read ( I totally support, but not my jam.).

{Chick-lit} Sophie Kinsella and the gang. Well count me in!

{Young Adult} Well, I read any, but please no teenage vampires and werewolves. (I critique those in Wattpad already)

{Classical} From Jane Eyre to Emma Bronte, I do read them.

NON- ROMANCE
However it's not my usual read, I still also love to explore and go out of the ordinary.

{Horror} I've read and enjoyed several horror books written by Stephen King.

{Others} Kokology books, etc. Even 'How tos' and stuff. Iinspirational and poetry books can also fit in.

How I rate stuff?

5 Stars: I really loved it and I would definitely recommend it for all those who are interested in the said genre.

4 Stars: Not perfect, but the flaws do not jeopardize the plot of the story. Something you can still enjoy reading.

3 Stars: It's okay.

2 Stars: I might have or have not finished, but at least I pursued until 50% of it. Bad stuff too heavy for its good parts.

1 Star: I don't know where to put this. It's not this book, it's me or it's not me, it's this book? (Still didn't happen, but something I am not wishing to occur. At all.)

Review Style

The Critique is divided into three parts:

{Postives} Basically, the factors that I liked in the chapters you asked me to critique.

{Negatives} The let-down parts of the chapters may it be grammatical or the pacing. Sometimes, this is non-existent, if I deem the work flawless.

{IQuirks} How my quirky side feels while reading the book.

My Genres and Ratings

For Wattpad, I read all kinds of genres and ratings. May it be incomplete or completed.

Payment

*1-2 chapters; a Wattpad follow would suffice.

*3-6 chapters; a Wattpad follow and I would have you leave a comment per chapter on my work Never Been for each chapter you would have me critiqued. (e. g. 6 chapters= 6 chapter- comments)
*For more than 6 chapters, visit the Wattpad Extended Chapters

Reminders

I only critique when the payment has been done.

The Quirky Novelist (Fern Risher) dedicated her life to read books. She believes that further reading may lead her to her forever book boyfriend and might help her in forging her writing skills as well.

Her blog was made in order to (of course, eherm) promote her works and help other aspiring authors out there in the vast sea of terrifying sharks to spread out their fins and let their works be known.
