Wattpad Review: The Request by @xkaydotx [Part 1]

Sometimes those spam emails aren't really spam. Sometimes they're pleading requests to help save lives. Julie, a journalist, learns that the world is far more complicated and violent than she could have ever imagined.

After receiving a request for her help on a certain situation, Julie packs her bags and leaves for Palestine, a land she's never heard of, nor ever been to. Julie does not know what to expect, or if she'll even find a decent story there. But one thing leads to another and Julie finds herself a set of friends, an exploding story, and trouble. Of course, little does she know of the events that will happen that will blow her mind.

Literally.

{Positives} Effin flawless! The author has a great visual description and I must say she nailed the Prologue!

{Inner-queen} Good god you had me there! With the boom! *Gasps, gasps* everywhere! Hands-down like totally! My heart seriously leaped out of my chest. PERFECT FIVE!

{Positives} Another great story-telling here! The author really showed the rough road of being a journalist-- writing articles that are not even their genre and being forced on ASAP your-so-dead deadlines. With a bit knowledge form the blurb, that email is sort of a source of stress for the viewers, which is so much of a plus point.

{Inner-queen} Oh my good lord!!! Answer the damn email! HAHAHA. Ofc, she doesn't know that yet. This chapter is loaded with the reality of being a damned writer and I love that!!! Great portrayal!

{Positives} I love how the author made the Palestine- Israelis war so interesting and interconnected to the story. Every chapter makes me wanna read more about what's going to happen next.

{Negatives} The Wiki article about the Palestine-Israeli was a bit TMI. Maybe, scattering them around in a mysterious way would be much better. Just a suggestion though.

{Inner-queen} We're getting something here! It's great that she finally opened her mind and answered the email, more so even searched about it.
